I can't believe that the season is already over. At least it signals that winter is about halfway done with us in the north east US. I've slept too long this weekend. I'll admit that. Kind of a bummer too for Sunday nights. I really liked the small tv line up on Sunday nights. It's the only time I have shows to watch that I make time for. Kind of a close out for the week. being a super cold week and also that twilight zone week in America between Xmas and new years. I should try to get out on a clear night to do some HD sky photography. I want to. Capture the milkyway in the open area of the country that is not obstructed by all the city lights. That will be my new years resolution. Along with a million other things I need to tend to.
I need to study up on pouring two foundations at the house too. We want to expand the kitchen and the office in one addition, also rebuild on the garage. Making it a two car, with a shop area, on the side and a loft above. Lots of plans ,not o much funds. Good thing I'm handy, or I'd never even bother thinking of half of this stuff. Still, it is a huge undertaking.

I always get to this time of year, and starting what it would be like to live where it is warm all year around. I like the snow, hate the cold. I'm of the opinion that if it's going to snow, let it really snow, not just enough to make it hard to drive or get my shoes soaked.
I've made my way to the grocery store via 4x4, that's fun. While at the store, I've stocked up on junk food to take me up to +SNL at 11:35pm , as I do not plan on going anywhere for the remained of the day. I have one server to supervise going full time 100% on, and another one that needs to be taken down by the 14th of January. A total computer work day, perfect to be snowed in and get things done. I may have to use some lists to get things in order. too many things to do at the same time can jam things up.
Boo Ya, snowed in for the last weekend of 2012 in the American North East!

I love this Google app. It's plugged into my server, and domain. and being a part of google makes using it from anywhere easy. I will be trying to learn some better posting habits when i'm on a real computer. I know these things. I used to do graphic design, so I have no excuse except being lazy.
There. I added a photo. That would be a blue sepia tone of cujo. A close up of his little face. often photos help to convey a story, however my best "rants" happen from the iphone. I guess post production is soon to be in order. Now I've changed the paragraph settings to be more news type ish.
Verdana looks good as a header
I do however like Georgia as well. sometimes it is hard to choose, too many choices. I think I'll take my time and work them into my favorite themes. I will however be pushing this over my server install of wordpress for sites. This just makes more sense.

Harrisburg, Landlord Law Problem.
The problem with Harrisburg's new landlord law is not just the absent landlords. The heart of the problem is bad tenants. While landlords can be absent, the biggest problem in Harrisburg is finding tenants willing to live in the city and also being the type of people that can pay the rent and not get arrested more than once. That is a plane hard fact. While the idea of the law is in the best interests of the city, what it will eventually wind up doing is making it impossible to rent in the city of Harrisburg to anyone.
Ask anyone who's ever rented in Harrisburg, the problem is not getting the people in the home and getting the deposit with first months rent. The problem is getting the second months rent...or the third or the fourth..... The real problem is that everyone looks great during the interview and great during the house showing. Even If you remain politically correct and dot your “I”’s and cross your “T’s” and fashion the perfect lease, you can still wind up with tenants that don't have what it takes to even take their own trash to the curb. All of these things can be corrected with decent responsive landlords however there is no way to screen a bad tenant until he is already taken possession of the home.
The way the law reads now if tenants get police called to your property once it is literally the landlord's obligation to get rid of them after one police call because two calls will take away his or her license. Ok, so let's say the good landlord gets the call he finds out that there is an altercation at one of his rentals, the next morning he has to begin eviction proceedings which take upwards to three months to complete in the worst case. Now let's assume that all leases in the Harrisburg area are all of a sudden overnight amended to include the fact that if one police call happens at one property, the rental lease is void and all the people in all the properties will be evicted. Good times. well thought out. Let's also assume the family is already having problems because the police were called. Now they're getting evicted. Imagine what it takes to get them out of that house do you think that the police are not going to be called again? Of course they are. Then the landlord is going to lose his license anyway because the people living there can't keep it together while being evicted. Not fair.
While this law intends to keep the housing in Harrisburg attended, the best amendment to the law would be to make the landlord responsible for getting the tenants evicted after two police calls, not making the landlord unable to rent in the city after one violation.
Harrisburg does have a rental problem. It has absentee landlords who don't pay the price. It also has bad renters who really don't need to be living there. To say that the whole reason the law has been enacted is just to keep the police from doing their jobs more than twice a year at the same location is absolutely ridiculous. That is their job. Sometimes families do have problems. Does it mean that they need to be evicted from their homes? I can tell you I've gotten more than two parking tickets for street cleaning that never happened. It's along the same lines. Just because you don't feel like doing street cleaning because it's raining doesn't mean you can still write the ticket.
Lets make landlords accountable for the tenants they rent to. That is the idea anyway, as warped as it is now. The law is trying to promote something which cannot be done until the tenant has moved in. No matter how good you're screening processes is, the plain fact of the matter is that despite the crime and everything else that goes on right now in the city, people that are still willing to still rent in the city of Harrisburg are not the people there to have the best credit scores. Every applicant has to be judged on site. Do they look like they are going to be able to pay the rent? Are they going to take care of the house? Are they going to have the police called? It's hard to tell. Until it happens you will not know.
Another problem are the laws protecting renters. If they don't believe they can be evicted, do you think they care about your renters licence? Anyone who has had to evict a tenant knows how hard it is to do. What the law should do is make it easy for renters in Harrisburg to evict tenants. That would be justice. Then the landlord only has to step up and evict them. The real problem here is having to find new tenants that in itself is punishment enough something none of us want to do.

Ah, the best part of Christmas, the back to sleepy time before football coma. There is nothing better than a simple craftsman wrench set, an omelet and a Xanax script for when the silence eventually gets broken. Oh yeah, and "it's always sunny in Philly " on demand.

You may be wondering why I'm up at 4:00am. we had a bit of a fire tonight at the house. Sally woke up coughing, because of the flu, and her medicine she had gotten on Friday. and as we sat there in bed , I smelled something burning. It was faint, like hot plastic. I got up, went down stairs, and I saw a glow on the side porch next to the outside door from the living room. I look at, and our screen porch is on fire. catching fire. I called in racing for a fire extinguisher yelling to grab buckets and water. I knew it was fire on wood, and that in seconds it would over take the whole side porch and once that happened, it would be out of control. the water helped but it was not enough. I had thank god forgot to bring in one of the outside hoses for winter. it was of course crappy, frozen and a pain in my ass. In my bare feet (not paws) , i ran around to turn on the hose, but the valve was closed from the basement, so as everyone kept pouring water, i got the hose working just in time. The fire had reached the foor and had started to burn inside the space between the roof and shingles. Keep in mind, it's dark, no time for lights, we are all in our bare feet, in 25 degrees spraying water on everything. The steam was coming off everything and it was hard to tell what was smoke and steam.
After the last bit i could see was out, i got some lights to survey the damage. I have a huge repair ahead of me before winter sets in, and it's December 20th, something......
That was close. I have no idea how it started, it's odd. I am dreading people seeing the house as the sun comes up and the questions that will be coming of which i have no answers.
merry merry :) at least we all were not hurt.

Donuts shop coffee, $2 bucks less than Starbucks .......and it's ok. They only have one "kind" ( I don't believe in flavors for coffee, those flavors make me want to vomit.)
I guess the biggest issue with the coming of the end of the world, since I have not planning for jack, would be the same question that many people are asking "what is the history channel going to put on the air once we hit the 22nd of December. As of last night, 22 hours of the 24 hour history channel programming day revolves around any and every thing made in the last 15 years that in any way references the end of days. So.... are we really going back to pawnshop marathons? or those two gay guys who look for garbage and put unsalable price tags on them?
Aside from that, if the end of the world does come I guess there are a few things that will be cool. No more house payment, I will not have to hear about how there is no milk left in the frig. No more hocking boogie's into anything and everything a teenage boy can spit into. (they will probably want to save water to wash off all the sweat they get from all the hard work they do). Did you guys know that sarcastic comes in lo fat now?
Either way I guess there positives and negatives for both sides. Since my cars are parking in yet again most likely for the next 4 days or so, I guess I'd better find something to keep myself busy with. I've done most of the house projects that can be done outside, baring any doomsday prepping. I could start scanning the skies for any signs of comets or something of that nature. maybe I can get a ride somewhere, get put on a mission plan for today, cause this is gonna be super boring. The only thing left is computer stuff, of which I have exhausted all the kind of hard stuff, and now I've got to get to the super hard stuff. Those computer issues make my eyes hurt. I think I have dry eye syndrome....lol and it's spreading to my face or something. I hope that clears up before the end of the world.

I'm not sure if that is good or bad, but I will be checking it out for sure. One good thing is that all this typing is making my typing skills get better. I still can not spell. and yet, my typing is linked to that. Nothing the less, better typing, worse or the same spelling.
I'm getting ready to rent an on demand movie. this tv selection is just horrible. I've fixed my last website for server moving, but I have not finished the task. I'm also now apart of a stupid photo of bacon on google plus, which doesn't seem to want to go away.
Now, to go pro. Pro blogger that is....
I just made .05 cents. I am now a pro blogger. I like this.

I've accidentally figured out a way to make my knees feel good. it's the most bizarre kung fu pose I can imagine and somehow it's amazing. I can't believe how good this is. It's almost like a dream. Im in the pose for each leg for under maybe a minute and my knees feel like there someone else's knees, there is no way to describe it
I'm standing here afterwards maybe five minutes later doing regular kung fu stances and there's absolutely no pain in the swelling on the right me move from one side to the other but the strength is back and both knees.
It feels like if I can just keep the stretch going with the stances in the positions not overdoing it it gives me the stamina is like through the roof compared to the pain level before.
The ability to have my knees free up from pain enables me to Stretchin ways that I couldn't before two things combined I must have a numbing effect it's amazing Some too much to quit. I'm going to get some ibuprofen see how it feels in the morning. I'd said it's a twisted stance extreme , literally a balancing act. My planted foot at a 45• angle holding my whole body weight on the crease of my knee cap wedged on my Achilles heel.

In this darkest of hours, days before the shortest day of the year, possibly the last day of all the years, I'm going to focus my thoughts on spring and the cutting of lawns in the mornings. I have a lead on the work, and with some looking around for a used large mower it will be set up in a snap.
Think Spring in these crazy days, rainy and cold. keep smiling don't give up!

"Soft Kitty Warm Kitty Little ball of fur".... man I hate waking up with a song stuck in my head. Having it be that line of that song just makes it much much worse. :)
Well, the whole freaking world had it's butt handed to it on Friday afternoon and this Monday morning I can see that if anything the fires are now burning brighter with rage and opinions about guns, weirdos, doomsday prepper's (3 days 23 hours left!)
What a gloomy doomy day in the north east. never the less, my knees are almost back to strength, and now I must continue my newly created knee streching exercise. I've tried to explain it in words, but honestly the only way to do that justice is to video it. I'll be working on that process. my whole therory is that, one of the problems with knee regeneration and healing is that so little blood flows into the areas that need the bodies fluids. Combined with swelling from over worked joints and muscles, it makes the recovery take a long long time. So i'm using kung fu to find ways to keep them in shape, stretched and limber. I've noticed that driving, and my foots position along with prolonged fixed knee positions make the knee joints hurt if done for too long, or at an odd angle. However movement and consistantly checking my alinements keeps the knees feeling 85% better each day.
.....little ball of fur....dam..... allmost had that out of my head!

Just a daily recap
today I was able to make the server do a lot of cool tricks. I'm hoping it gives me the get to I'm going to need for the start of the computer related week. The weekend flew by. Everything now is focused on the school killings in newtown. Kind of hard not to think about that.
I wish that I knew how the truck was going to act tomorrow, better yet, maybe a warm morning to fix up the oil in the thing. The truck has one more big job tomorrow before I can give it an over haul.
I have to say the season end of homeland is sucking big time. Dexter was a good one however. Oh wait, homeland just got cool...cliff hanger.
Tomorrow begins promotional time for the server, we need a few new customers for the load.
I am getting sleepy... Tomorrow I'm going to start my new Kung fu stretching and nunchaku promotions. Now this next part is a test of image injection with on the fly iPad publishing.

Alright, well, that kind of works. Let me explain the photo. I took this in a fence repair job. I find that you can tell much from studying some thing you have to take apart to fix. In this case, the repair of a old fence. All three attempts and then the final forth in a way represent the thinking at the time of its addition to the maintaince of the fence over maybe 50 years.

I've been installing WordPress and Blogger accounts on hosting domains. The Google forwards work well with the sub domains, and the straight out WordPress install also works well. It's all about personal preference at this point. I like the blogger because it does all the RSS work for you and is hooked into your g mail account services automatically. It's iPhone app works well too with Siri making for easy speak and type functions on the go. Publishing to your blog could not be easier.
As I sift through server settings and try to make the switches all become set correctly, the NFL plays in the background. Rams lost...meh. They were holding on till today. This year there is no NHL to take my disappointment in my NFL team into the background. I want to get back to the news at some point and get some more info on the shootings. Much more info has been put out there, I feel compelled to understand fully what brought on this persons actions.
I hear a "ding" the server has completed yet another install and is asking me for attention. I was able to get way more done today with this server than I thought I would, so it's all plus plus plus at this point. It's 4:45 and almost dark. This is the shortest, oddest time of the year, I think. 4 days, 17 hours, 13 minutes till the end of the world and or the point when days start getting longer rather than shorter. I always like that part. This last week of short days seems surreal. With that I must finish this posting noting that it is being done as the first work created from the new server's address. This service I hope to promote to others we host on the web.
Tomorrow I'll start to pick more direct topics for syndication.

Like almost all the summer movies, we didn't get a chance, or really have the cash to go see them. Batman has come out on demand and last night I sat down to take it in. After however many hours, I have to say I have a lot of questions. I am familiar with comics in general, most ly marvel, but I'm not ignorant to most comic book themes and story lines. Batman rising however is way off, so here are my basic questions.
Who was the girl? Future bat girl or cat woman?
Who was a cop? Future robin? If so, robin was not a cop in the comics, he came from the circus
How many times can Bruce Wayne loose all his money?
Unlike the old tv batcave, this one is very wet, wouldn't those computers get messed up?
I understand Bain, but what is with the mask? Lamo explanation, if any.
Much like my knees, batman,s were shot to hell, but unlike me Bruce Wayne I think could afford the operation. Instead, he put on a knee brace,
However he got to this "cave prison" located in limbo, he didn't have his knee brace, so how if he jump out of it? And what the freaking fuck kind of stupid prison was it, and who feeds all the jerks that cant seem to rock climb at all which seems to be all they had to master to get out.
I guess putting every last policeman into the sewers is possible, I mean, you could do it, but why would you do it? And. After however many months, Gotham aka " new York" wouldn't get anybody else in the country to maybe drop by and tke a looksy after 2 months?
I'm sorry batman, there are a lot of gaps

However he got to this "cave prison" located in limbo, he didn't have his knee brace, so how if he jump out of it? And what the freaking fuck kind of stupid prison was it, and who feeds all the jerks that cant seem to rock climb at all which seems to be all they had to master to get out.
I guess putting every last policeman into the sewers is possible, I mean, you could do it, but why would you do it? And. After however many months, Gotham aka " new York" wouldn't get anybody else in the country to maybe drop by and tke a looksy after 2 months?
I'm sorry batman, there are a lot of gaps

I love blogger, it's quick and easy to write form my iPhone, and iPad . It's linked to google as well, yet Wordpress is something I can install on my server and offer to users. It is also more widely known as a blog and a writing tool in general.
I don't like to have too many things that all do the same thing. There are too many things in general in my life that are redundant.
I think that liking the blogger to my server might be a better choice, not sure if it's possible but worth looking into.
Today was painful. I spent it moving yet another storage unit to a new unit. It was depressing to think how much money over the last three years has been spent to keep this stuff. It is a prime example of my problem of having things I don't need. Well, I should say that's how I am. But my family, who own 100% of this stuff can't let go. So I spent the day moving old furniture, all partial board, nothing of value, toddlers toys, and about 300 used shoes and sneakers. Oh , and about 5 44 gallon hefty bags of children's books.
Yes, I'm sleepy. They family went out again to try and get more of this stuff. I don't expect the truck to come back in one piece. It did this run all day for 1000 miles, the odds of it surviving my wife's driving are about 5%. I've decided that where ever it falls, the truck will stay. I'm not supporting it any more. It gets 9 miles to th gallon.
Well, off to a movie then bed.

Today if feels cold outside. Very much so. I guess global warming has me spoiled. Most of today was spent on setting up more server stuff. I wish I wasn't so stupid about all of it. Too many acronyms. It's like they went crazy in that department during the development if the rules of road for the net.
Off to check out a storage unit. Fun times

It would seem that 70 in December is becoming the norm in the north east United States. I'm not complaining, I love the heat and not having to buy heating oil. But one thing I wonder , is it global warming or are certain places getting different weather? They say as the North Pole moves 40 miles a year south that the whole thing is gonna flip over.

I'm sleepy. It is cold and I hate the cold. I really hate the cold. One thing I find sucky is the way I look when I can't get comfortable. Being cold is much like that. There is no way to really get comfortable. Maybe that's why Eskimos always look constipated and people in the tropical always look comfortable. Just a thought.
When I'm warm I can get stuff done, even when it's too hot outside. I can still get things done.
But when it's cold, deep into my bones I'm a no go. It's hard to deal for me. My bones are riddled with arthritis and torn cartilage. I can't afford to fix them, or stop moving for that matter so it is hard to imagine a moment in time when I wasn't in pain. None stop pain. I know I took it for granted when I was healthy. Too bad

Fun times. I'll have to add this to my lists of things I had to figure out. The days of the old telephone are gone, for now at least. The Internet phone service is here. It's way cheaper, for now. But it's not magic jack or vonAge simple. You have to pAy more for that.
This way is far more complicated cheaper and harder to do. If it was only as easy as my iPhone. Even Wikipedia warns you if you want to continue. Just reading about it can hurt

This is a list of my skill sets, each with a colorful explanation:
The following lists are broken down in the basic general categories to give them order:
Artistic tools
Fine Arts:
I’m a fine arts major fluent in oil painting on canvas, illustration in all mediums, Abstract and realistic for most 2d applications.
Photography:
Studied basic photography in highschool and college. I worked as a fuji micro film lab tech for a number of years in the 90’s. I owned the first handheld kodak digital camera and designed a means to switch the archiving of large format documents from 35mm microfilm to digital scanning using digital cameras rather than scanners. THis prcess was then later stolen from me by my boss when he company went under in order to land him a new job. This company uses my idea to this day for archive storage. I have run portrait digital photography studios and specialize in glamor photography, portrait photography as well as nature and action shoots.
Computer Graphics:
I’m 100% self taught in all computer graphics and computers themselves. I am proficient in all of the following.
At 14 I took bass guitar lessons from Bill Halley. I have been schooled in private guitar lessons for 5 years following. I’ve studied classical acoustic guitar and music theory. I have perfect pitch and can learn any song on the bass, guitar, and or keyboards in under 5 minutes. I understand sound studio recording, multi track recording, instrument and vocal recording, live stage and sound set ups, amplifiers and PA systems.
Mechanical
Auto: basic engine repair and diagnostic work
Watercraft: Can work on 2 cycle engines, basic hull and fiberglass work and repair.
3D design: Design and layout of any object in a 3D computer environment using lightwave 3D
Household: repair of most all appliances, structures and parts of a house.
Sports and Active
Inline skating:
In 1992 I started using inline skates as a means of transportation. For two years I used it as a means to get to work, skating 5 to 10 miles per day plus 10 miles race training each day on a 1 mile track. I invented urban downhill slalom skating on asphalt without brakes. I have taught roughly 300 people how to skate and have used it as an effective cross training program for everything from weight loss and diet to cross training dancers and fighters.
Martial Arts: In 1997 I started training in Pai Lum Kung fu. ( White dragon northern style boxing) While it took a while, I hold my 1st degree black belt in Pai Lum and am well versed in hand to hand combat, weapons combat and fighting strategy.
Construction
Carpentry: framing, from scratch construction.
Plumbing: all home water supply, waste and general pipe work
Electrical: basic outlet and home lighting wiring
Interiors: color design, layout and planning, painting and surface prep inside and out.
roofing: shingles, gutters and repairs
Flooring: tiles and vynal

Image Archive and storage.
Image correction, color correction
Web Server administration, design and setup (I do not Code!)
Site design
ECommerce: setup, shipping, and sales flow
Printing large format, Photo Realistic
Universal skills, Unique Skills
I’m still working on this list........ :)

Universal skills, Unique Skills
- Worked as a bodyguard/driver for 3 Washington DC dancers for 4 months one summer.
- Bought my first house stocking beer and ejecting large drunk men from bars working as a bouncer then head floor manager for 8 years in a downtown bar.
- Can pull a jet ski engine and rebuild it and the jet pump from scratch
- Can build an entire swimming pool water filter system from scratch
- Can take apart a Houston Fearless Hollywood film processor and rebuild it and repair as needed.
- Have an automatic and instant BS detector for, salesmen, teenagers, mechanics, doctors, production engineers, artists, waiters, cooks and computer coders.
- I can hurt people twice my size very badly
- I can make any 2 or 4 cycle engine run that is mechanically able to do so by simply being near it.
- I study quantum mechanics as a hobby and find the forces of atoms and gravity and everything we do not understand about them highly interesting. I also believe that based on these ideas, murphy’s law and others like it are in fact real and can have a large bearing on how the world deals out seemingly random actions.
- have been the captain of a small boat and or PWC
- Owned the first smartphone in the harrisburg area in 2000, and paid dearly for being ahead of the curve.
- Was able to navigate 3 miles of the inland shore ways for 2 hours on a single jet ski alone with nothing more than a pizza shop map of the area which was not water proof and mainly pointed out places to eat on the island.
- Have worked in the sewers. Literally, my first job out o f high school was working for my grandparents sewer maintenance and repair company. I worked my way up to crew chief and learned how to drive large double clutch trucks and operate all the vacuum and water equipment.
- Producer: In general I can produce anything from a Saturday morning car wash to a short film about paving highways. As a producer , depending on the job at hand, this skill could be called also "general contractor " or project manager. The role is the same in all. The ability to coordinate various talents, people, locations, equipments, make them work and fit together to "produce" something from nothing. This role requires that I can learn on the fly, have an understanding of vast amounts of things not related to each other, yet not be a master of any while flowing to and from each as needed.
I’m still working on this list........ :)

Since last night election has made "smoking"pot legal in two more states, I have seen the old debate fire up. Of course these are in the states that still have the laws in place. I often find it interesting to tell the true story of Pot in the USA as a refresher for those people who don't understand what it is, or why it was made illegal in the first place.
Before I start my story lets get some basic facts straight.
1. The most dangerous drugs for the human body are Alcohol and tobacco. All the worse drugs like heroin and crack are bad for you too, but the things that make them hardest on the body are the things that the drug dealers "cut" or "mix it with, like rat poison So while heroin is much worse as a drug, the harm done to the body is by the filler, not the drug. The most harmful things are legal, as always have been.
2. You can not overdose on pot.
3. I have never heard of anyone getting madder, or more hostile while under the influence of pot. It is not a gateway drug nor does it have a physical effect like withdraw or addiction.
4. Pot is a "downer" and you must treat it the same as drinking as far as driving or operations that require safety.
5. Medical marijuana's only purpose is to ease the effects of the drugs given to fight diseases, it doesn't cure or fix anything. It's is nothing more than a pain pill that doesn't have to be, but can be ingested.
The story begins...
Shortly after the cotton gin was invented giving farms in America a better way to produce cotton, one of the "cash" crops. (cash crops" is a term we had to learn in school, it is no longer taught, and or changed so as to remove the one cash crop from the list.) The cash crops were:
Cotton
Tobacco
Hempt (POT)
Never the less, soon there after it became feasible to also produce a hempt Gin. The plus side being that hempt being a weed is easy to grow and unlike the other crops would grow back quickly and during a planting season. The introduction of a gin that worked for a hempt field could produce many many times in one growing season.. At this point in time all things that we consider made of paper were not made from wood paper, but hempt paper. The Constitution is written on POT, so is the declaration of independence.
Enter the wealthy land owners who, just prior to these gins being invented has purchased vast amounts of timber land across the whole continent for the purpose of using the wood for paper production, a new and exciting way to make paper. Seeing that it would take a tree many many years to grow back as compared to a field of weeds, they felt threatened and thus one of the first lobby groups were formed to protect the interest of these land owners. They successfully were able to make pot illegal and keep it that way. Over time no one remembered the gin, or the plus side and the story of how bad and evil it was became part of American society with whole generations growing up knowing of the weed as a drug with no other uses.
Most of those trees are gone now, and the families who owned them have moved on to other things. Paper is all but a memory in our modern computer age. I just threw out 6 trash can's full in my wife's office yesterday. all useless, all junk mail. However the drug laws and the conception of the weed have remained in place and used as a tool to jail people and control the conception of "Say no to Drugs" a term used in the 80's by Nancy Reagan to promote non drug use. This view point was based on the use of the drug in the 60's and 70's by the older WWII generation. What most people don't know is that hempt was still being used in WWII One application as rope because it is unmatched in it's natural tensile strength. The parachute George Bush jumped out of his plane in WWII was made 100% of POT and it saved his life
But, the old ideas die hard, as I write this and use spell check , Google can figure out all of my horrible spelling error's except for the word "hempt" it just has no idea what ever i could mean. :)

Im working up some info I want to hand out with my purchased nunchaku.
Thankyou for your purchase
Thanks for purchasing one of my nunchaku. correction, it's yours now. As martial artist being one with your weapons is highly effective. My mission is to hand make these nunchaku and breath life into every one.
each piece is unique. No two are identical. I start with hand selected hardwood from either a mill, or raw pieces that I mill myself directly form the tree. the weapons weight size and length all are determined by the raw wood and it's availability. once milled they are hand cut, sanded detailed, oiled three times and finished. they are branded with fire made of the extra wood each come from. finally I string each one with military paracord and they are numbered by batch wood type and length. each set comes in a handmade bag.
every process is completed in house. we purchase our woods from American small wholesalers and take pride in the fact that this product is 100% made by hand in the USA.
Mayan Apocalypse 2012 hurricane batch.
The batch is about 50 pieces made from Cocobolo, RedOak, Curly Maple, Locust and IRon Wood (ligniam Vital). this set features locust and red oak in a octagon taper size as well as a slim straight octagon for the cocobolo. the locust wood is from downed trees from hurricane Irene and a year later milled and created during hurricane Sandy.
just as ancient sword smiths chant and enchant the steel as its formed in the fire, as the wood is shaped and the weapon is formed, we like to have fun while we work and create a positive energy in the shop.
these nunchaku were formed with a lot of Flo Rider and Fleetwoodmac on the iPad radio. The wind nd rain of hurricane Sandy crashing on the roof and the spare locust wood fueling the wood stove and irons.
lastly, please keep in mind, deepening on what style martial art you study and what the practitioner is using them for, there are many types of nunchaku. our nunchaku are traditional Chinese hardwood nunchaku. they are not lightweight, made of foam, or forgiving in any way. no one should attempt use without the guidance of an experienced martial arts instructor who is profishant in Chinese weapons.

I think they were left over from Saturday to tell you the truth. Driving around is a bit odd. It's funny how you can sense the feelings of drivers on the road when the weather is bad, or more over, before it gets bad. I guess people in general have a panic trigger.
I have been piling up firewood for two days but I'm starting to wonder if I have enough. That wood burns hot And clean but a bit faster than I would expect.
Well back to the storm!

well I tried to not look at the radar image as long as possible. There is going to be a lot of rain. An epic amount. I'm worried about the trees cutting down. we have been here three years, and had three hurricane. in total 13 tree down one way or another. two of them went right into the pool. I am worried there is one just positioned perfectly to land in there again.
it's raining now, the tip of the bands are starting. They seem to think it will continue through Wednesday peeking on Tuesday at 2:00am. Three days of 50mph plus winds and no telling how much rain.
It's going to be an interesting Monday morning.

Well it's about one year to the date that Irene put down three trees in my yards and pool. I'm hoping there are none left to fall.
Now I must get my shop fired up to cut the lumber from that storm and get my nunchaku listed.

I'm not going to waste too much time on this, as way too much time has been wasted on this joke of a company. BEWARE!!!!!!!
Months ago, in August I tried to port my at&t number to T-mobile under what was labeled a "Value Business Plan" unlimited talk text and internet for $49 a month. Sounds too good to be true? That's because getting that plan is un doable. They are simply doing the old "Bait and Switch"
A week later a sim card came in the mail, for the wrong plan. I called, I waited. After over one week and hours on hold they finally told me that I need to go to a T-mobile store to straighten this out. There were unable to grasp the concept that they gave me 100% not what I paid for. Not only was the plan wrong, they gave me a new t mobile number and completely botched the bringing my iphone with me.
Before I got to the store, I received a letter in the mail from T mobile stating that my credit was not good enough and that they were not going to do business with me. A few days later, I got an email with a bill for 249.00. Please keep in mind, I have not used or even have a phone that is on the t-mobile network. I have no contract at this point either because I stated very very clearly over the phone when I placed my order that this is for the "$49 Business Value plan", and I made the woman on the other end repeat it over 5 times.
Ok, so I finally have time to drive to the T-mobile store. They see I have an unused account and claim to have fixed it. They then try to give me the plan I wanted. To make the whole day, which is what I wasted there, a shorter story, I had to drive back there three times, because after each time, T Mobile came up with a new document that was needed to start the service. After the third time in the store they came up with needing three months worth of business bills from any company to prove that my business was real, even though I had produced all my paperwork from the state of PA ect, ect. Needless to say, I left and did not return. The choice to use T Mobile as a company was gone. They simply are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
Shortly there after I received two more letters, stating that my credit was not good enough to be a T Mobile customer. I saved those. why you ask? Because today, I got an email asking me if I need more time to pay my Tmobile bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, keep in mind, I have never had a t Mobile account, phone, or service put in place yet. So I call the number, they switch me around, and then put me on a conference call to which end a woman from India tells me that I need to go to the T Mobile Store with my Driver's Licence yadda yadda yadda. In my disbelief, I explained to the whole conference call, that me wasting one more second on this company was not going to happen, baring hiring a lawyer to sue them into the stone age.
That may happen. Do not use T mobile.
The amount of grief these cyber attacks have had on me alone is incredible. You just don't realize that every time you use technology to get a task or thing that needs done to be done quicker or easier, you dig another foot down into a hole. When the internet stops, or a provider gets attacked, the domino effect makes everything connected to the process look bad.
It's harder to draw the line on what goes wrong, and then as problems persist, people like myself, start to second guess everything. We do the George Carlin, we keep going back to what we know is right, over and over, each time, expecting there to be a change you missed the last time. It's enough to drive you grey in four hours.
With the amount of stress this causes on a work day in live production, you would think that we were launching a rocket ship.

Why is it that every time I go in to do an "upgrade" or fix to our home network if busy bots, the cords are always tangled in ways that I can't even conceive of? If there ever comes the day " 60 days from now" when a comet or solar flare smash us and take out all the circuit boards I will be the first one off the ship. We are slaves to our own technology.

I have finally perfected a process that lets me make a product in my wood shop area. My own little factory in the garage. Now to start pumping out for Christmas time.

I wish the weather was easier to predict. For the first time in my life, it's a factor that effects how much work can be done. I'm not used to yelling at the weather guy on tv.

All day on the puters... I've not done that in a while. It is so hard to stay focused with a million screens and crap to fix everywhere. I have been at it for 16 hours straight and feel like I've gotten nothing done. To top it off I have to deal with a Comcast service call in the morning.

I'm Blogging. I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing, but it is part of my general Google feature advancement day, which has been proven to be quiet cool.
Below is a old video we made as a joke at a production company I used to work for.
It's been a long rainy day. I'm working on a Cloud version of my office. It's needed big time. I've got to get modern with my files. I want my computer life to be like the fake simple computer lives on TV commercials. That magic life of tiny cameras that send work to offices and show customers proofs while big shops get posters made form all of this while I go to pick up my prescription of Xanax holding an ipad that is doing color correction on the fly as the printer prints my files 6000 miles away on an offshore printing press.
