The buttons above....lol, no I don't plan on needing even a fraction of them.

Well I've gotten pretty far on this project.  Never mind those button that don't work above. Please understand if you are reading this thing, it's a dummy platform to test out the code editing for blogger and the CSS code it uses.  Also it is testing out how the mods interact with advertising and about 74 other smaller things that matter all together but no so much that important apart. This is the main reason why I will not take the time to list them here.

Can I just break and say that with my office window facing the street, Friday afternoons have a strangest drive by people.  It's very odd.  We have many many joggers and dog owners in the neighborhood, and all of them that live on top of the hill walk the ridge on the top and don't go down the hills so we see many people on foot going past the house.  We are also one removed from the main corner intersection that funnels all the through traffic and people on short cuts.  These reason make Craig s list drops curb alerts wonderful for us if we or getting things to move out.  It also attracts the strange.  and I'm watching a few of them now...lol  The guy below fell off his bike like three times at that intersection before he finally got going and started in on a cell phone call while getting past the house.

Yes very odd indeed. But enough of that.  this site is a testing platform and I'm ironing out the kinks here before I go any further.  I started doing some house keeping on the server and opened up a new server that will function for the back bone for the next year or so.  While setting it up, I decided to try out the new Wordpress blog cms that comes with the server use.  it's nice.  I was shocked at how much I liked it compared to the old version.  This is right out of the box. blog.badskeleton.com

More to come as I set up the server.  I'm also featuring some new shopping cart stuff that looks very promising.

The painting of the house...

I'm sure my whole block is starting to wonder when I'm going to be finished getting ready to paint.  There is no doubt in anyone's mind that I'm not even close to the actual act of painting.  I however am beginning to wonder myself when this will be as each trip up the ladder sends me back back down a few hours later with nothing but a feeling of dread and loom.  I tried out some heavy duty paint stripper.  It was clear after two tries that it would do nothing but make the job worse, which it did.  I returned the stuff the next day at Lowe's.  They took at back without so much as a word.  Today I tarted back at it, this time with a heat gun and paint scrapping knife.  Somehow the places I applied the paint remover to, became stronger, infused with power, enough to resist the heat gun and the knife.  That was great.  So now the three roof areas are super cruddy looking, and extra strong with that look of crud.

This whole mess started back in 2007 when we were looking to buy the house.  The house was being painted when we first found it.  Word to the wise;  If you are buying a house that is being painted while on the market, make sure the paint is being put on correctly.  If it isn't, you can lower your price buy $8000.  All they are doing is making it far worse.  In my case they were just trying t cover up and make it look nice for a season till it was out of their hands.  they didn't use primer, at all and to make matters worse, painted white with a flat coat with ZERO sheen.  Everywhere they didn't prime is peeling right off and everything painted over is holding super strong in the middle and super duper shitty on the edges, so it look extra crappy, thus making me remove most of it as well.
Man I could kill those guys.  They are literally costing me two months of work to get all this corrected so we can paint the house.

Much to do by Winter

In the news of moving stuff to make room in the house for the yards new wood shop, we have begun.  I busted my own butt today to move things around, come Tuesday of next week the erst will be moved out and I'll move in the wood working tools and power equipment.  I have many orders to fill and the store needs the supply stocked for Christmas.  There is much to do by winter.

Most of us have been there at least once,  the local cable TV store.  it's where the magic of On demand TV viewing leaves the puffy happy world the TV commercials show us, and the service itself meets the cold hard in your face street reality of person to person interaction.
This is mostly why there is bullet proof glass there, well...... I should say that and a host of other factors that all tend to lead to the inevitable escalation of human conflict.  Lets explore some of my observations as I stood in my line today at the cable TV store with my cardboard box of boxes that we now for some reason have to turn in to get new ones which will in turn enable Comcast to honor the deal they made and have broken, for the last 5 months.

What would we expect from the store based on the TV commercials?  Probably something similar to a cell phone store.  What we get is something that looks more like a convenience store that stays up late for people who took drinking the whole way to 2:30am and now need the large industrial hot pocket to be able to fall asleep by 4am.  These people at 3am are possibly dangerous, but why are the people in line at the cable store, at 11:30am dangerous?

The reason they are dangerous is because they have been told to come here by people on the phone.  These people who seemed to know everything magically, just like the TV commercials. They were helpful and they were sorry but for some reason you are a special case and you need to simply proceed to the cable tv store where you have been told they will easily be able to complete this change and you will be all set.  That's what you go into the door thinking however when you get up to the bullet proof glass thing......... change.

The first thing you will notice is that the person behind the glass is unhappy.  You might notice the person items they brought with them to work, shoved on a cluttered table behind the desks under the bullet proof glass.  Kind of dropped in place as if the store was literally on fire when they all arrived that morning.  Yo may next notice that these people look normal... average, they could be seen working at wall-mart, or a grocery store but what they do not portray is a tech savy, go getter my blog, my face, remote controlled wire jockey who understands what all those button do.  No, you are not at the Apple iPhone genius store. You are at the equivalent of a hoagie shop trying to return or get answers about a device that costs hundreds of dollars and service that costs hundreds each month from a little old lady behind bullet proof glass because her employers know that what they have done combined with her hire, at this location may result in bodily harm.

What you will discover next is that somehow in 2014 the people who stream all your information and visual, audio entertainment, who sell you TV as needed, when needed at any time day or night.....even though these people and the little lady in the hoagie shop work for the same billion dollar company, their computers are not hooked up to the lady's computer at the sub shop "cable TV store"  She has no idea who you are.  They did not tell her about your problems, or how they were fixed magically on the phone, not 15 minutes ago...... you drove fast......so you would remember everything they told you on the phone........ but they didn't tell the old lady behind the bullet proof glass anything you talked about with...... hmmmmm  what was his name...... the guy on the phone, oh that's right, he didn't give a name.  I wonder why?  and the dance begins.......

The dance consists of some eye rolling.  You asking questions that are instantly squashed by the people behind the glass.  A feeling of being stupid....or possibly  deceived in some way..but you just can't put your finger on how.  They get up and go into a back room that you can not see.  This gives you more time to look at all the things in the room behind the glass, now with no people in it.  If you look back into the lobby where you came from, you will see now a line a people holding cardboard boxes.  The ones with out cardboard boxes look even more tired, as they assumed the boxes, wires and remotes would be easy to keep together while walking in.  They too had a positive phone conversation with a person with no name who fixed everything.  they did not however count on the line once inside, and now all the stuff is slowly falling out of the arms.  The hoagie lady reappears with devices that are the complete opposite of what you thought you were getting in your mind on the way over.  You ask if it's right, they reply yes, eye roll.  old stuff goes in, new stuff comes out, you carry it to the car, drive it home, forget about it.....then remember about it at 6pm, hook up all the boxes and.................................nothing.

The next part I do not do.  I used to.  then I got xanax.  I don't take that anymore, and I don't field calls from the cable company, ever....for anyone.  Talking with me for them has got to be like a slow hell, so it's better all around.  But for the next 2 hours my wife is on the phone with the cable company, all over the house, back and forth because despite everything to this point, when you call in they have no idea what you have been doing and no idea what you brought home from the hoagie shop...

Miss a payment, they know you.  and they know what you have enough to turn the shit off.  We need to take back some basic rights with utility company's.

Kind of funny and true
Please stick with me as I tweak this code and CSS layout.  It's a bit different than I'm used to, but understandable.  I love the tools available.  When you plus these in to the full Google sweet for business, ad-sense, and search engine optimization it becomes easy to promote on a very large level.

Customized layouts for writing, and links.

  • List
  • Items
  • for
  • making
  • lists

One thing that is interesting is the way that each page can be put out and used as a scratch pad and a finished document.  Limited in some ways but for simple quick writing this can't be beat.  The basic functions on the mobile application work great as well.  sometimes just getting the basics down as they are thought of is the most important thing for get things produced to the next level.

Urban dictionary:

Shit talking occurs when people have too much free time (see: not having a life) and make up rumors or put down others, whether they are enemies, friends, or just random people.
Those shit talking scumbags just wasted a whole five minutes of my life complaining about someone who I could really give a shit less

truth
Something which would probably upset a great many of people if it were known and made public.
Truthfully speaking, most people have no idea of what the truth actually is.
by Super Gerbil July 11, 2004

now....Websters version:

truth

noun \ˈtrüth\
the truth : the real facts about something : the things that are true
: the quality or state of being true
: a statement or idea that is true or accepted as true.

I've found that a great many people confuse shit talking with the truth.  Many times when people are told the truth about a situation, or about themselves it is instantly regurgitated as someone was "talking shit" as if to imply that what they are saying is a lie when in fact it is just a painfully honest observation.  I've also found that this occurs the most with young adolescent white males who fancy themselves street gangster rappers.

So I went looking for some cargo shorts today.  Looking for a sale or clearance prices on some good fabric.  I hate trying on clothing at the store.  So I guess big.  I like shorts to be baggy anyway.  I picked 36 waist thinking I'm at 34.  I want to get to 32 waist but I know I'm not there yet.  So I find the sale, fabric was crappy. Paper thin, synthetic, but they were not too bad.  I get home and try them on, oh my...they do not fit. Not even close.  Wow.  So now I'm depressed. If 36 s like that, that puts me in 40 to be baggy comfortable..  So I put them back in the bag then searched for shorts I had in bottom drawer.  I found I pair I've never worn because they are light tan and I tend to stain light shorts.  I out them on perfect fix, look at the tag. 34..  So how can shorts have such a drastic size swing?  Aren't sizes standard?  Is that not what determines a size?

Entropy vs gravity. Objects with mass feel the amount of force of gravity because of the entropy created by its movement as it falls which creates chaos.  Lol chew on that one.

Manic Tuesday...  and rainy windy.  It's even cold outside somehow.  It been a steam bath of humid air for a few days now and everything is growing like mad in the yards.  It is not helping out my mowers either as they all need cleaned badly.  I've spent the rain day on the computers.  It's depressing how much there is to do on them, all "house keeping" as I so often put it.

It come to realize that the making of execution of "Lists" is the key to most problems I run into. I have so much going through my head at once it is impossible for me to order out everything I need to micromanage in my head.  So far I've been unhappy with my attempts to remember everything and do everything.  I do like the Google Keep application.  it works well.  I'm hoping my iPhone supports it soon, I've read that it will be shortly.  I'm hoping "siri" can use it so I can begin work on my note taking list making project.

My project now is tweaking the CSS code of these Blogger Templates.  I need to have some things as is, but you always want to control content, and colors personally.   I do not feel like diving into web coding.  It's bad enough I run a whole server, days would need to be 35 hours long.

So yes in sort I'm writing about nothing to test out blog formats, and it is as boring as it sounds.

If you live in Lemoyne you may have noticed that this year your sewer bill is double the amount of your water bill- if you have no idea what is normal, sewer bills should be about half your monthly water bill.  By comparison our sister town of Camp Hill pays around $70 a quarter.  Both towns are serviced by American Water Company.  The only difference is that when you drive off the I 83  Lemoyne exit or drive down 3rd street in Lemoyne it always smells like sewer and in Camp Hill they dump their waste directly into the creek from the pumping station and it always smells like roses.  There are a number of things that don't add up with this story but before we explore them we must bring up the resent news that Penn live has taken it upon themselves to spearhead a public right to know campaign for some unknown reason.  They are asking that the people in Lemoyne who are behind on paying this outrageous bill, have that information be public right to know and get published......in Penn live via The Patriot News online magazine most likely.

The Patriot-News requested data on sewer accounts that were at least 90 days past-due as of July 31, 2013, including at least the account name, number of days past due and the balance.
The delinquent sewer information request came on the heels of sewer rate increases in Lemoyne, which raised residents’ bills between 37 and 62 percent, depending upon usage. The borough has about 1,800 residential and commercial customers.
The borough refused to provide the information, and Michael Cassidy, borough solicitor, said the data is exempt from disclosure under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Pennsylvania Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act. - Penn Live

I can only imagine the people in Camp Hill want to know who is poor in Lemoyne because I can tell you none of us poor folk in Lemoyne give a flying f%k who knows, we just want this outrageous ill planned financial disaster corrected.  It should also be noted that Lemoyne Boro after three months sends the people of Lemoyne a letter explaining they are taking a lean out on your property when the sewer bill isn't paid.  They give you a deadline too. I plan on taking them to the cut off date on this every time, which I have since we have moved here because I know unfair when I see it.  I know corruption when I see it, and I don't care to play.  When we bought this house we were over charged 144,000 gallons over the course of three years.  American water corrected the problem, and we have not had a water bill in two years because of it.  Lemoyne however never honed up to the fact that their bill which was directly based on water consumption at the time, was also way too high.  To get American water to pay up, I had to fight tooth and nail for over 4 months.

I don't believe the public has the right to know anything about how citizens struggle with crippling utility bills that mirror extortion and feel more like a mugging.  The public has a right to know why its government is putting the screws to the public, not the other way around.
As you drive down market street in Lemoyne ask yourselves why we are paying to have brick walkways run across the street that do nothing but wreck my car's suspension because of how uneven they are or why for two years we have been butchering the side parking with jutting curbs and planting arrangements that look more like dead weeds and do NOTHING but abstract a drivers view of oncoming traffic.  Why did we spend tax dollars on this when our sewer bill is double of monthly household water bill?  I've heard the plan too... "This was to keep water from run off erosion in Lemoyne"  That is complete BS.  It is not doing that nor will it ever do that.  For one, after two years nothing is growing in these sidewalk spaces, and even if it did, the curb would still let the water run down the hill just at it always has.  All that money should have been put into this sewer problem.

I have to say this is not the morning for this, but you have to start sometime.  Around my house the talk of starting to write blogs professionally is a hot topic.  I want to do this.  I want to, but I must find the time.  If i treat it like a workout, and set aside 20 minutes a day to start, that might get me somewhere.  Soon my uncle and Co owner of our general contracting business will be calling, and I'm going to have to stop writing.  Tomorrow I will give this more time.

So am I the only one who still doesn't get how they did the Jackson thing Sunday night at the music awards?  I've heard about 20 shows tell me they are going to revile the secret, and each time at the end, nothing but smoke and mirrors.

The Rangers are off to a great start!, 2-0 in the series.  I can tell I'm going to have a good summer if this trend keeps up.  We already got rid of those penguins and now I can almost see the cup coming into view.  It's been since 1992 I think.  that is too long.  So LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!  besides, whomever you were hoping would take the cup, we can't let the Canadians get it.

I spent most of the weekend cleaning out my garage.  It was well worth it.  Now I've also started cleaning out my computer, and blog.  I love the blogger app, but i'm still torn with the WordPress version.  New dynamic themes and content that I need to update.  What better time than spring to get these things done.  I'd also like to see me start up the tools in the shop and get some things done in there as well.   Most of the things I need to get done are around the house, literally in the yard.  Since this winter was out of control cold, we burned through almost all of our firewood pile.  Leaving a very large area of mostly mud in the yard.  The big question whether or not to turn it into a garden, or plant more grass.  I've been wanting to switch our grass over to "Bermuda" grass.  Most people don'd like or plant it in the north east because it turns brown in the winter.  I dont care about the grass turning colors when it gets cold.  The plus is that it is like a carpet outside.  The most rich and dense grass I've ever seen.

I was drawn into a Facebook battle of info facto's over the weekend.  Normally I wouldn't let something like this carry over into days of back and forth, but because of the nature of the misinformation and the complete ignorance on the topic, I felt compiled to push my point.
A friend posted a list of things that pot can be used for with a caption asking why it's illegal.  To which numerous people replied with posts ranging from holes in the brain, homicidal crane operators and other such nonsense that can not even be repeated.
I believe that to speak on this topic, first things first.  The best way to start is to declare what it is we are wanting.

I believe that cannabis is a useful plant that should be able to be cultivated like any other plant to use as anyone see's fit.  I think it should be decriminalized.  It should be prohibited just like alcohol for consumption for anyone under 21.  It should be treated as such  for driving, or any job or task that requires safety for the benefit of others well being.  I believe that only reason it is still illegal and not controlled by government is that they can not figure out how to tax and control a plant.  When a chemical company makes a new drug, its fairly safe to say that people will not be able to make homemade versions of say "Prozac"  which is why the drug company's feel safe and in control with their normal products.  With pot however, they do not have that safe feeling.  That's because anyone with a brain can find the info, and the materials to make there own.  Drug companies hate that, as does government.

There are two main reasons hempt was outlawed in the US.  both reasons while not happening at the same time in history are tied together to make the laws we have on the books today.  Firstly,  after the cotton gin was invented in 1793 helping that cash crop and it's production in 1862 the hempt gin was invented.  That's right, "hempt" one of the four cash crops of the new world, now removed from all history books.  The fact that we can change history to suit our needs is sad in of itself, but yes pot was a big crop in the new world as clothing, paper, rope ect were all made from it.  The declaration of independence, and many other famous documents are printed on pot kids.  With the invention of this gin however, the mass production of pot was now able to compete with cotton, and wood products on a scale it never could before.  Here in lies the problem.  Many rich new world family's had recently purchased vast amounts of timber land for the sole purpose of making paper.  The new Hempt gin threatened the value of that land for generations.  Thus began the anti-hempt lobby.  People dedicated to making hempt illegal, not for your health, or the holes in your brain, but so trees could be chopped down for 100 years to make paper.  It was so successful that Google spell check, as I write this, considers the word misspelled.....LOL   Today the anti Hempt lobby has new sponsors:

1.) Police Unions: Police departments across the country have become dependent on federal drug war grants to finance their budget. In March, we published a story revealing that a police union lobbyist in California coordinated the effort to defeat Prop 19, a ballot measure in 2010 to legalize marijuana, while helping his police department clients collect tens of millions in federal marijuana-eradication grants. And it’s not just in California. Federal lobbying disclosures show that other police union lobbyists have pushed for stiffer penalties for marijuana-related crimes nationwide. - See more at: http://www.republicreport.org/2012/marijuana-lobby-illegal/#sthash.4zgVfPHY.dpuf

2.) Private Prisons Corporations: Private prison corporations make millions by incarcerating people who have been imprisoned for drug crimes, including marijuana. As Republic Report’s Matt Stoller noted last year, Corrections Corporation of America, one of the largest for-profit prison companies, revealed in a regulatory filing that continuing the drug war is part in parcel to their business strategy. Prison companies have spent millions bankrolling pro-drug war politicians and have used secretive front groups, like the American Legislative Exchange Council, to pass harsh sentencing requirements for drug crimes.
3.) Alcohol and Beer Companies: Fearing competition for the dollars Americans spend on leisure, alcohol and tobacco interests have lobbied to keep marijuana out of reach. For instance, the California Beer & Beverage Distributors contributed campaign contributions to a committee set up to prevent marijuana from being legalized and taxed.
4.) Pharmaceutical Corporations: Like the sin industries listed above, pharmaceutical interests would like to keep marijuana illegal so American don’t have the option of cheap medical alternatives to their products. Howard Wooldridge, a retired police officer who now lobbies the government to relax marijuana prohibition laws, told Republic Report that next to police unions, the “second biggest opponent on Capitol Hill is big PhRMA” because marijuana can replace “everything from Advil to Vicodin and other expensive pills.”
5.) Prison Guard Unions: Prison guard unions have a vested interest in keeping people behind bars just like for-profit prison companies. In 2008, the California Correctional Peace Officers Association spent a whopping $1 million to defeat a measure that would have “reduced sentences and parole times for nonviolent drug offenders while emphasizing drug treatment over prison.”

Doesn't really sound like they are concerned about holes in our brains.....hmmm, they really could give a crap about you at all, cept the bottom line, money.  So, if you think Nancey Reagan made pot illegal in the 1980's to safe your soul, you would be sadly mistaken.  In the 1930's however drug czar
Harry Jacob Anslinger started a seven year campaign against pot mainly to fund his departments failing income.  They produced movies and information from thin air that portrayed pot as a drug that made people "mad" and "insane"  Most of these ideas became engrained in our grandparents minds so much so that they still shape our views today, as misinformed as they are as compared to the real facts.  Pot doesn't put holes in a persons brain, it also doesn't make a person see magical things that are not there.  It doesn't make people hostile, or angry like alcohol, it also, unlike alcohol is impossible to overdose or kill yourself smoking pot.

The bottom line is that because of the history of the United states, we have lost most of the true information, real information about pot.  People have been smoking it for more than 5000 years.  The hidden benefits that can be discovered from this plant will never come to light until we stop making up nonsense, put our heads on straight, and stop slamming things we know nothing about.

Last night I watched some show about pyramids.  We have all seen them, on tv.  The basics are normally the questions: how, who, when, why, But as in most science cases as seen by conventional scientists, if they don't like the answers, they ignore them.  We grew up being taught that these structures were tombs built by people who believed that a pyramid would help a god like leader get to the afterlife.  We were told that 30 million granite blocks were moved shaped and assembled over the coarse of a person's whole life for this soul purpose.  Here are some facts however that are hard to pass by when considering this explanation.  Firstly, no one has ever found a body in any pyramid, opened or sealed.  There are no writings of any kind on any surface of the great pyramid.  None what so ever.IN the last 20 years it has been revealed that these structures are alined with the stars in the Orion constellation.  It has also been discovered that the shape of pyramids in of themselves have very interesting properties.  I've heard theories that these were power plants, used to transmit energy, others have speculated that these were built to protect the planet as well.  The links i'm going to show you are from a man who in the 1970's and 80's made a number of tests and research at the great pyramids and found some things that when looked at as a whole, sends the whole topic into a new and amazing direction.  Some of the math and terms are way over my head, but the general idea is this.  Joe Parr discovered that when you take the shape of a pyramid and place it on a centrifuge it creates a measurable energy field that much like the earths magnetic field, can repel all radio, electric o magnetic and partial waves.  It even can repel gamma rays.  Just to note, a gamma ray is the most powerful and destructive force in the known universe.  If earth would ever get in the path of a gamma ray burst, nothing would be left even if it was million of light years away.  The fact that spinning a pyramid shape can shield us from a gamma ray burst in amazing.  Another thing, and maybe even more interesting that was discovered during this experiment was that as the object spun, it started to loose weight and soon was floating.  It has created an anti gravity effect. the onyl thing more amazing about this was the direction the floating pyramid headed towards.  It headed directly towards the belt of Orion in the stars.

Try to read through the technically parts and see the basic facts that have come out of this discovery.  This is real math and real science of electric properties and physics.

Well i have not had much time to write lately.  Today is a special snow day where I find myself doing nothing.  I've stopped to take note of some cool stuff in the news, and some other happenings worth mentioning.
To the left you will see the image from Google moon that has depicted a object being called a space ship that has crash landed.  I've gone some research and it does look like it might just be what they call an artifact in digital media.  My thoughts after reading a number of news articals is that it very well could be just an imaging problem, but there is a very good chance, if you believe that nasa has been tracking two crafts headed towards earth for the last two years, which they do claim is happening, if that is true, then maybe what they are saying is true too.  The story is that they lost site of these two crafts about a year ago as they past Mars, and they re appeared crashing into the moon just last week.  They say the Chinese going to the moon right now is also part of it as well as 4 unannounced rocket launches to the moon by NASA this week is also a sign of something big going on right now.
It has been snowing here nonstop for about 11 hours, and it's coming down hard as ever as I sit here in the late winter afternoon.  I have to hit Lewistown in the morning, and it's important to get there on time.  that may prove to be a chore.
My arctic office became to cold to sit at around 3pm.  There is another cold blast from the north following in this snow storm.  I have so much to do, and none of it can get done till this weather breaks.  It's taking a long time this winter to get things done.  Work is harder than ever having to be out in cold non stop, wet...dreary, un fun.
The snow really is piling up, wow.  The photo to the right is a look at my half done 3 season office.  I was forced out there early before Christmas to make room for the tree.
Good old Torra.  She is so focused in the morning.  Out to pee, in directly to inspect the food bowl for tartyness.
